This is the single most useful thing to know from Barrhaven. Confirm on your DriveTest booking whether it is a G2 or a G before you commit to Winchester, because a G booked at a G2-only centre is a wasted trip.

Greenbank north, then east. About twenty-two minutes from Longfields to Walkley outside the worst of the rush, and closer to thirty-five inside it.
What we spend the practice hour on from Barrhaven depends on your test class, because the route differs. A G2 is shorter and stays local to the centre; the G, where a full-format test applies, reaches further out. Tell us which one is on your booking and the hour is planned around it rather than around a generic checklist.

You might not need a road test at all
Before you book anything from Barrhaven, check how long your licence was invalid. It is the only thing that decides whether a road test is required at all, and we would rather tell you now than take a booking you do not need.

About 22 minutes outside the worst of it, closer to 35 inside it. We are already at the centre either way; it is your arrival the appointment depends on.
Can I take a G road test at Winchester?
No. Winchester runs G2 road tests only. For a full G from Barrhaven the practical choice is Walkley Road, about 22 minutes up Greenbank.
Which centre should I book from Barrhaven?
If it is a G2 and Winchester has an earlier date, take it. If it is a G, or you need a Saturday, book Walkley. We cover both.
