Our commitment

Ignition Interlock Program Training is committed to providing goods and services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, and to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to use and benefit from our services as anyone else.

This website

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means: text can be resized and the page can be pinch-zoomed, every control is reachable by keyboard with a visible focus outline, colour is never the only way information is conveyed, images carry descriptive alternative text, and the page is usable with a screen reader.

If any part of this site is difficult to use, tell us and we will fix it and send you the information you needed in another format.

Communication

We will communicate in the way that works for you — telephone, in writing, large print or in person. Just ask.

Assistive devices, service animals and support persons

People with disabilities are welcome to use their own assistive devices at our premises. Service animals are welcome. A support person may accompany you at our premises at no charge; note that DriveTest does not permit passengers during a road test, which is their rule rather than ours.

Vehicles

Our vehicles are standard automatic passenger cars. If you require adaptive controls, tell us when you enquire and we will say honestly whether we can accommodate you rather than take a booking we cannot fulfil.

Service disruptions

If a planned or unexpected disruption affects services people with disabilities rely on, we will post notice at our premises and on this website with the reason, the expected duration and any alternative available.
